You are invited to join our Retirement Plan after you are over 18 years old and have worked with us for one year. You must work at least 20 hours a week consistently and have worked at least 1,000 hours. Ocaquatics matches your contribution 100% for up to 3% of your income. Mentorship Program


Our mentorship program strives to create a more resilient workforce, to encourage knowledge sharing, and to ease newcomers into their new roles on the team. Better communication among the team allows to create bonds among Team Members that keeps them together in a family-like atmosphere. Knowledge sharing will allow for both parties to learn from each other through past experiences.

A new Team Member is assigned a mentor after 30 days of employment.

Mentors and mentees are encouraged to keep an ongoing relationship in and out of work. Phone numbers should be exchanged so that communication is not limited to work hours only. In order for there to be a fruitful relationship mentors will be required to spend a minimum of 1 hour a month with their mentee (less than 5 min a day!). 

 

Pairs are given free range to discuss any ideas they wish, but are encouraged to share dilemmas they have encountered and how they dealt with it as well as sharing their aspirations and what techniques they have found to help them develop the most.

 

Additionally, mentors will be given a monthly Mentorship Challenge to help give ideas on how to grow the relationship between mentor and mentee.


Family Discounts


Team Members having completed their 90 day review and are in good standing, are eligible for discounts on group swimming lessons for family members. Discounts will be applied for one time per week enrollment per child in the family, not including weekends or any prime time as decided by the General Manager.

 

Any family member who attends swimming classes must be registered into a class and must follow the registration policies and procedures. All enrollments must be approved by the location General manager. 

 

Immediate family members (spouses, children, brothers or sisters) - Team Members that work 2 shifts per week, receive 40% discount. Team Members that work 3 shifts per week or more, receive 100% discount. If receiving a 100% discount, make-ups will not be honored. If interested in a weekend enrollment, the family member receives a 20% discount. 


Other non-immediate family members (nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren) - Part timers receive 20% discount. Full timers receive a 30% discount.
